Spectacular Senior

Oh my we had such a fun time yesterday with Megan. She had done a yearbook session with us earlier in the year and waited until now for her senior pics. And we had just a beautiful day for it. Great locations and some fun friends shots in-studio too! Love her prom dress image!!! Natural light just has such a beautiful quality unlike harsh fill flash like some ameuters will overuse. It really does pay to use a professsional studio for your most important portraits.

Fun Shasta Senior

We had a ball with Delainee and her brother the other day. Great kids and just a bunch of fun to work with too. She came to us after going to another studio and just was not thrilled with her portraits...so she came by to see us. I asked her if the other photographer would give her a refund and she said no. They only offered to reshoot her session. Well seems to me that if you didn't like your shots the first time why the heck would they be any better the second time around?
Oh well. I offered to shoot her session at a greatly reduced rate and she was super excited. With some higher volume studios all they do is "push" kids through and really don't try to be very creative. Like Delainee found out sometimes it's better to shop around and go with somebody you are comfortable with and makes the time to get to know what your needs are and what you want your images to reflect.

Senior Guy

Another great senior guy and his sweet ride. The weather this week has just been outstanding for location shooting. We love the outdoors and there is no better time then right now for it. Spring is really the best time to do your senior portraits as you will "look" more like the "you" that is about to graduate.

Fun Family Portraits

Got to do some fun family shots the other day. The kids were hilarious and mom and dad were good sports. We love doing these kinds of sessions where we just sort of guide and let the kids be goofy. We did some more traditional images too, but the fun ones are the best!

Spring Senior

Now that spring has sprung we are getting some last minute seniors before graduation. Now's a great time for sessions with the nice weather and green stuff everywhere. We have a few times available over spring-break so why not give us a call.

We had a great session yesterday with Jacob. The man knows how to wear a suit! Great kid too!

Victorian Cuties

We had the pleasure of photographing these little sweeties this morning. Grandma is going to have us make one of these images into a "victorian style" image along with some others we haven't shot yet for her home. We have been photographing this family for quite some time now and I love getting to create something special each time we see them . Fun Couple Shoot

Had a great time the other day with Lauren and Steve. He's in the military based in Hawaii (must be a rough ture of duty) and she is going to school in Chico. They wanted something fun and romantic. We all had fun and I got to meet yet another terrific couple of people.
