Shasta Prom

So after another wedding Saturday we had a ball photographing Shasta High's Prom at Turtle Bay. Originally the kids were going to have the prom out in the gardens with the Sundial Bridge as a backdrop, however mother nature had other plans. So inside the museum we went and actually it was really great.

The kids were having a great time and we were out of the weather so everyone was happy!

We'd like to say "thank you" to all the staff and kids that put this on and made the prom such a super event. Did I just say "super"? Oh well, if luck holds we should have the prom pics to the students by this Thursday and they are lookin' good!

Oh Baby

Amber and Brandon drove up from Sac. to do their session with us. What a great couple and they are so excited to be new parents! We can't wait to see their new baby girl when she arrives and takes center stage for her first photo session! It is a wonderful experience to be part of a new family.

Fun Model Session

Jordan did her modeling session with us yesterday for some upcoming rep cards she needed.

What a great gal and great personality too! We have many special deals for anyone persuing a career in modeling or maybe just wanting to do some images to get an idea of how you look and work in front of a camera.

Seriously though if you are looking for an opportunity to show the world you are the next top model, don't send some schlepy photos to agents or reps. Send them images that will get you noticed and that stand out from the crowd!

New Baby and Family

Here's a collage from a family session we did yesterday. Beautiful new baby girl! We did their wedding a couple of years ago in Maui and now we get to be a part of their growing little family unit. So cool!

Funny thing about this session is we had to to take a break on three occassions as this little girl is all bladder! Too funny.

Cool Senior Girl

Samantha came to us wanting to do some "edgey" looking portaits for her senior images. Well I love doing different looking things so we had a great time! We shot a ton of fun images and let me tell you it was really hard editing the over 400 shots we did down to something a little more managable.

Fun Prom

Saturday night AFTER a wedding we did the "Grown and Sexy" prom at Win River. This was the first ever grown up prom here in Redding and we were so glad to be a part of it. The prom was the brain-child of Rico from Power 94 radio station and he asked us if we would like to participate. We said "heck yeah"!

Loads of fun and great images. We actually made the background in Photoshop and green-screened everybody in for a very unique look! Very Hollywood!

It was a long day, but you know who really needs any sleep.

New Engagement Session

Collette and Jaret were a fantastic couple to photograph Sunday! Beautiful locations and really super nice kids too! He is a professional wake boarder so they wanted to incorporate this into their session. They also brought their "kids" for some fun images as well. We love special sessions like this when we get a chance for something different.

Hannah was our star model last week. We enjoyed her great personality and fun, spontaneous posing! Her bro helped us out on the lighting a few times so a big "thank you" to him as well!

Commercial Jobs

We had a great time shooting some images for Home Helpers! What a neat group of folks that work there. Our "models" were great and were also clients and staff too.

We just got a call from a Bay Area Architectual magazine to shoot their cover image of the new Gaia Hotel in Anderson and its designer Wen-I Chang. I am so stoked about this job! It's not often we get to work with a National Magazine in this area so we are honored and really excited they chose our studio for such a grand cover!

Another Great Senior Guy

Gregg was a bunch of fun to photograph yesterday. He brought his truck and good amount of outfits. We did a cool football poster with his buddies to give to their coach back in the fall and now was just for his senior shots. Great job Gregg!

TV Shoot

We had the pleasure of working with KRCR Television for some ad and web images they needed done. What a fun group of folks. I love the chance to meet new people and have some fun with these new working relationships too.
