Country Senior Girl

It was a real pleasure working with Hannah yesterday for her senior pics! Enjoyed the beautiful outdoor country setting and shot using only available light and some modifiers. So many "newbies" work looks flat and boring compared to when you use directional light and have a terrific pose! This is one of the many reasons why you should choose your photographer carefully. Sure, you can find someone "cheap", but is that what you really want for one of the most important times in your life? Naaahhh.

Brentwood Engagement Session

We were down in the Bay Area last week finishing up an engagement session for Kim and James with their beautiful horses. It's always fun for us to get away and shoot somewhere different and this location did not disappoint.
Shooting people with horses is always a challenge, but these guys did great! Looking forward to their wedding next September at the Cascade Theater.

I was so bummed out when I heard what Shasta High was making their seniors do...have their yearbook portraits done by LifeTouch. Aaaarrrggg!!! It's your senior year and you are going to look like everyone else in the yearbook. No originality, no cool poses, no fun I say!

Senior and Family Session

We had the opportunity this past weekend to work once again with a terrific family. They live in Elk Grove but wanted to come all the way to Redding to have us photograph their son for his senior pics and do some of his sister and the entire family too! It's good to know that we have such loyal customers!

Shasta Senior

Morgan's session yesterday took us to the ballfield and then into the studio. Buddy shots, sports and a really fun chemistry set rounded out our day. Next week we'll be headed outside to a beautiful location for some more fun so stay tuned campers!

Happened to catch this image just before she headed over to the ceremony in her horse-drawn carriage-a surprise entrance for the groom!

The groom is a real-live rocket scientist and I think he figured out how to turn off the gravity! lol
