Awesome Senior Girl
Nicole is one of our spokesmodels and came in yesterday to do her outdoor session with us. She is a wonderful model and we got some beautiful images! Thanks Nicole for such a great session and letting me try the "framed" shot.

Foothill Senior Guy
Parker wanted more traditional poses and less "artsy" images. No problem, we do ALL types of photography to make our clients happy. After all, these are your senior portraits and you should get what you want right! Parker did great and we had some really nice end of day light to use for his session.

Shasta Guy Session
You know what I really enjoy about my job is meeting all the great seniors from our area schools. Lots of talent and just genuinly nice, nice kids! Mick was no exception. Great smile and fun to talk to as well. It's fun to find out a bit about these kids as we are doing their session and really get them to relax and open up just a bit. It really helps in the final outcome of their portraits to incorporate a bit of their interests or talents into the shoot. Thanks Mick, you were fun to work with and hope you like your shots!
West Valley Guy
Jael was man of many faces. He had the baseball look, the western shots and the catalog model images too! Fun stuff and a really nice young man too. We tried different locations and then came back for some in-studio shots also. Thanks to Jael's mom for helping hold my light bouncing gear. I could not have done it without you mom!

Guitar Hero
Brandon had a terrific session with many great poses and locations. Black and white remains very popular and we are the experts for this. Some photographers think simply turning a color image into black and white is all you need, but really you need great lighting technique and deminsional depth to achieve artistic black and white images. We ended up at one of our private locations and got a sweet shot at the perfect time of day. Good luck with your band and when the time comes I know where you can get your CD cover photo done.:)

Riverview Wedding
Selene and Chris had a spectacular day for their wedding! We really enjoyed working with this couple and their wedding party. We captured so many beautiful images and also loved the elegant demask decor and amazing tropical flowers. Pretty much a "picture-perfect" day! Thanks go out to Gwen Edwardson for coordinating everything and keeping us all on time and in-line! Gwen you are THE BEST!!!!
Shasta Senior Girl
Please look closely at these images and see if you can see why so many seniors choose our studio over the competition.
We posted one of Maddie's images larger than usual so you could see the quality we get from our digital files. Not all digital cameras are created equal. Many photographers bought into the Canon marketing hype and did not explore all the options out there. The cameras we chose were developed with skin tones in mind and therefore produce a more real-world look. If your photographer does a lot of over-processing or blown out effects it could be because of the cameras they use and are trying to mask the camera's inherent drawbacks. Our cameras have significant dynamic range and can capture subtle details in shadow areas and also retain highlight detail as well. So what does this mean for you and your portraits? Well, a lot really. Sure we can photoshop with the best of them and maybe even better, but we can also give you the best in real image quality and isn't that a better value when you invest in your portraits? We also do the type of retouching you are used to seeing in many magazines and Hollywood images. We'll make you look sooo good!
Oh and by the way Maddie you did awesome too! Great girl and full of creative ideas for her pics!! We totally love when our clients have poses in mind and we can capture what THEY want. A win/win for everybody!

Cool Engagement Session
We had a really cool and I do mean cool session with Teri and Richard the other evening. Those clouds made for some great images and it helped too that he brought his sweet red Barracuda! Love using cars as props as they always ad more interest to the final images. Looking forward to their wedding in just a few weeks!

Mike and Gail's Wedding Day
This couple is so in love and that really shines through in their images. We loved the intimate shots of these two just genuinly enjoying their special day. Thankfully it wasn't miserably hot, but summer weddings in Redding are rarely comfortable anyway. We loved photographing your day and appreciate you choosing our studio!!!
All the best to you and your family!!
